English lessons
A Chance for a Better Life Through English Lessons
Our English Classes are a volunteering opportunity where like-minded individuals come together to teach English to underprivileged children.
Join us every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at 5 PM at Habitat Kids Club in Uluwatu for an afternoon filled with purpose and learning.
No special teaching skills are required. Our local English teachers lead the lessons and provide exercises, while volunteers help the kids practice. So, do not worry if you are unsure about your English level - if you are able to communicate in English, you are already qualified to help.

Education is the key to a better future. Unfortunately, in Bali, children born into disadvantaged circumstances often do not have a birth certificate and therefore are unable to access free public education and must enroll in private schools.
This situation creates a heavy financial burden for many families, leaving numerous children without access to the education they deserve.

The English classes are super fun! The local English teacher prepares exercises tailored to the different levels of the kids. So as a volunteer, all you have to do is show up and have fun. I had a great time drawing with the kids and teaching them the names of different colours in English. They're the cutest and their excitement and enthusiasm make every lesson a joy. I can’t wait for the next class to continue helping these wonderful kids learn!

such as home renovations, medical care, tutoring and financial relief - helping them build a brighter future.
We nourish those in need by cooking and delivering nutritious meals, providing food packages and redistributing rescued leftover food and ingredients from local restaurants.
